Job Summary: This position is an integral part of the Global Communications Department supporting Global Brand Communications elements: Founder Relations Crisis/issue management Corporate & Internal Communications Brand storytelling Global Creator/Brand Experiences External Brand Partnerships Philanthropy Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Founder Relations Oversee founder calendar and requests In-market visits Personal appearances Interviews Draft speaking points, quotes, etc. for Tiffany Masterson Crisis/issue Management Liaise with Legal, Shiseido Corporate Communications, Tokyo HQ and brand stakeholders on crisis and issues action plans for internal and external audiences to protect the brand image and equity globally Lead influencer related issue management for all paid and owned programs. Liaise with multiple external agencies to mitigate risk and ensure all partners meet brand codes and expectations Corporate Communications Manage all Corporate/Brand Communications needs and serve as point of contact for Shiseido and Tokyo HQ Support all trade organization requests, events, and special projects Brand Storytelling Create communication tool kits, including key messaging, press releases, Q&As, event guidelines, and mailers to ensure on-brand and timely execution Support Tiffany Masterson Global Communication content needs i.e., editorial, photography, and videos Global Creator/Brand Experiences Oversee execution of Global Creator Activations: Manage Timeline and logistics Manage Production Agency and serve as point for event logistics and needs including team coordination and logistics, negotiating contracts, product forecasting, etc. Partner with Global Creative on branded merchandise Manage all internal alignment and approvals with key stakeholders Initiate competitive analysis surrounding events, and activations to stay current and innovative External Brand Partnerships Oversee regionally relevant partnerships in collaboration with Global Business Development, Global Marketing and Social Digital teams Philanthropy Support the development and execution of Drunk Elephant’s future philanthropic and cause platform Support development of storytelling around philanthropic partnerships and impact Serve as the key point of contact for corporate giving and volunteer programs Qualifications & Competencies: 5+ years of Global Communications experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Creative strategic thinker and problem solver Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills Strong understanding of skincare and beauty industry Ability to develop and manage logistics, timelines, and create new processes Experience working with international/global content creators and media Experience managing and negotiating with external partners (vendors, agencies) Relevant experience in program management, partnership development and relationship management Background working on corporate philanthropy programming Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills and proficiency in Excel Well-versed in the dynamic digital landscape Desire to understand the international marketplace including trends and cultural behaviors #LI-Hyrbid #Nylaw Shiseido is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender identity, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information or any other classification protected by Federal, State or Local law Salary : $84,841 - $134,195/ year
