A Brand Manager, or Brand Strategist, is responsible for maintaining a company or individual’s public image through the implementation of marketing initiatives. Their duties include communicating with company executives, marketing personnel, and public figures, completing research into industry trends and public perception and aiding in the creation of marketing and advertising campaigns to strengthen their client’s brand identity. Essential Job Functions * 1. Manage brand strategy ensuring products resonate with our customers. 2. Help define and fully execute a brand marketing strategy across all communication and touchpoints (product, packaging, in-store, promotions, presentations, website, social media, eCommerce and traditional marketing): 3. Responsible for implementing and managing marketing plans, budgets, and timelines across the segment 4. Responsible for creating and maintaining brand guidelines to include: 1. Brand promise 2. Personality of the brand 3. Brand treatment/logo 4. Approved icons & graphic elements 5. Approved colors 6. Typography 7. Approved still photography 8. Approved lifestyle photography and treatment 9. Approved social media content 10. Approved video content 5. Develop processes to assure compliance and consistency of brand guidelines. 6. Responsible for managing and developing digital assets for HS brands and working with Creative Director on a prioritized shot list for asset creation. Build the brand to reflect the preferences of the consumer/end-user by spending time with customers and prospects to understand their needs, their objections and how they see our products fitting into their lives. 7. Stay on top of market research and trends to ensure our brands are ahead of competitors. 8. Responsible for managing and executing market research and trends to ensure our brands are ahead of competitors. 9. Manage agency relationships as appropriate. 10. Give design direction to the graphics team on creative tasks needed for ongoing brand implementation.
